Raytheon Electrical Engineering Application Support Professional in Huntsville, Alabama
This position can be either a G08 or a G09 based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position. Position will report into the Electrical Engineering Solutions department, which is responsible for providing Information Technology (IT) solutions to all Electrical related disciplines within Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS). The Information Systems Technologist I will have primary duties in the support of various Electrical Engineering tools and will be tasked with seeking out and implementing new operating efficiencies. Responsibilities include tool support in the areas of demand management, deployment, problem resolution, integration and customization. The selected individual should be a self-starter with excellent critical thinking skills and the capabilities to identify, plan and implement tool automation and support requirements to continuously simplify and improve the supported Electrical Engineering tools. Minimum Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or Mathematics or a related IT field and 4 years of related experience Knowledge of Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) schematic capture and layout processes Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems Applied work experience with Mentor Xpedition Enterprise and Valor electrical design and verification tools Must be able to act as the prime technical contact on assigned areas of responsibility Highly Desired Skills : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or Mathematics or a related IT field and 6 years of related experience Knowledge in CCA documentation requirements Experience with Mentor xDM (DMS) server product Familiarity with one or more of the following; Linux scripting, Tool Command Language (Tcl), AutoIt and Visual Basic Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Strong written and verbal communications skills Experienced in Windows and Linux system administration Passion and tenacity for solving challenging technical problems, and a desire to help others 112751
